Agroecology must not be reduced to specific technologies - IPES-Food contribution to HLPE e-consultation

(15 November 2017) Agroecology must be considered as a cohesive system and a set of guiding principles for redesigning food and farming systems - not an itemised set of technologies. 

This was the message from IPES-Food as the panel responded to the e-consultation on an upcoming report of the High Level Panel of Experts (HLPE) of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS), entitled: 'Agroecological approaches and other innovations for sustainable agriculture and food systems that enhance food security and nutrition'.
